535 658 2 A load compartment and a crane of the type of a boom are placed on the rear chassis, the outer end of which usually comprises a telescopically functioning unit with a gripper and which manages to work on both sides of the load compartment. The crane on the rear chassis is typically attached immediately behind the chassis track or partly on it and in front of the cargo space, whereby it is at the same time behind the cab. The crane eater is placed on a turning device, with which the crane can be turned around the vertical axis when manipulating tree trunks next to the forestry machine. Between the cargo area and the cab there is typically also a protective wall or screen which is also called a screen or protective screen. The function of the screen is to protect the cab and to support loaded tree trunks. Various front fenders or protective screens for the cargo space are presented in the publications F1-119628-B, DE-19911872-A1, WO-2004/026667-A1, F1-76295-C, F1-44525-B or DE-29907565-U1.
According to the prior art, the screen can be raised and lowered, or it can be overturned in its entirety or in parts of the cargo space or the banks, or even removed in its entirety if necessary.
Summary of the invention The object is to present a new solution for protective screen construction which is intended to be placed in a cargo space. The screen solution is used especially in forest machines, for example in trucks or in the above-mentioned combined machines, but also in various trailers that comprise a cargo space and which can be connected, for example, to a tractor and with which tree trunks can be transported. Forest trailers can also have a crane placed in the front part of the trailer, in front of the screen construction.
The screen construction according to the invention for a cargo space is characterized by what is presented in claim 1. The forest machine or forest trailer according to the invention is characterized by what is presented in claim 11. The method according to the invention for mounting screen structures is characterized by what is presented. 535 535 668 3 is claimed in claim 12. The screen according to the invention for a cargo space is characterized by what is presented in claim 14.
With the presented screen construction, advantages are achieved especially in the manufacture, since the same screen solution is suitable for e.g. different models of cargo spaces. The presented screen construction is particularly suitable for such forwarders, whose cargo space can be made narrower or wider, or for which there is either a normal cargo space or a wider cargo space available.
The modifiability of the screen construction enables the above-mentioned advantage, and the manufacture and storage of different screen models is avoided. Production can be simplified, and cost savings are achieved.
For the screen construction presented, it is typical that the screen construction can be modified, in an example by turning the screen of the construction upside down, which has an effect e.g. on the dimensions of the entire screen construction and cargo space. A special advantage is further achieved if the frame, to which the screen is attached, remains the same. In this way, the same screen construction can be used in different cargo spaces, and at the same time you also get modifiability to be used in a cargo space.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The invention will now be described in more detail by using, by way of example, a preferred embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 shows a screen construction and a position thereof, Figure 2 shows the screen construction of Figure 1, in part elevated, figure 3 shows a screen according to an example, and figure 4 shows the screen construction of figure 1 provided with a separate wall construction, and a different position thereof. 10 15 20 25 30 35 535 668 4 More detailed description of the various embodiments of the invention Figure 1 shows a screen construction according to an example, which in the example is placed on the frame 9 of the cargo spaces together with the bank 10 of the cargo space. Bank 10 is not necessary but common, for example, in forwarders. The tree trunks are placed on the bank 10 so that the ends of the tree trunks are directed towards or next to the screen construction, and pillars 14 attached to the bank 10 support the tree trunks laterally. The pillars can also be attached directly to the frame 9, the structure of which may differ from that presented. The tree trunks are placed between the pillars. In the cargo space, there are typically several banks and pillars one after the other.
The screen construction comprises a frame 8, which acts as a base and the lower part of which is mounted on a chassis 9, for example a trailer or the rear chassis of a forestry machine, on which the banks and the cargo space are located. The frame 8 has a definite width and constitutes a wall construction which extends to a definite height and, if necessary, also acts as a protection and supports the tree trunks.
Attached to the frame 8 is a screen 1 which has a certain width and constitutes a wall construction which extends to a certain height and acts as a protection and supports the tree trunks. The screen 1 can be uniform or comprise openings or a slat or grid construction so that the driver of the forestry machine could see through the screen 1 into the cargo space.
In the example of Figure 1, the horizontal width of the screen 1 is greater than the width of the frame 8, and the frame 8 is centrally located directly below the screen 1. The sides of the screen 1, i.e. the left side element 3 and the right side element 2, are in this example integrated in the screen 1 but they extend lower than the middle part of the screen and are placed next to the frame 8. The frame 8 becomes between said side elements. In this example, the side members 2, 3 rise to the same height as the center portion of the screen 1.
The height of the screen 1 and the height of the pillars determine the height of the pile of tree trunks that can be collected in the cargo space. The distance 10 15 20 25 30 35 535 668 5 between the pillars and also the width of the screen 1 determines the width of said pile.
In its position of use, the screen 1 is connected to the frame 8 by at least one support member 7, according to figure 2. In this example, the support member 7 comprises a vertical guide which is mounted on the frame 8 and rises higher than the upper edge of the frame 8, if necessary adjacent the screen. 1 upper edge.
The screen 1 comprises at least one fastening structure 6 which is connected to the support member 7, and said fastening structure is vertical and open at its two ends. In this example, it is a question of a pipe being placed around the guide. The guide comprises a rod or a tube which has a e.g. round or square cross-section and which is placed into the tube in the screen 1. The screen 1 moves along the support members 7. The tube present in the screen 1 is open at its two ends so that the support member 7 can be pushed into it from any end, depending in the 1 position of the screen. Instead of the tube, the screen may comprise a series of short tubes in succession, which are open at their two ends, or rings one after the other. The rest of the structure of the screen is preferably placed and fastened on two opposite sides of the tube or ring, for example according to figure 4.
In the example of Figure 1, the screen 1, together with its side elements 2, 3, is movable in the vertical direction. The screen 1 moves and is supported by the support means 7, which allow the screen 1 to move up and down. In the example shown, the side elements 2, 3 also rise in their highest position higher than the frame 8 and its upper edge, according to figure 2.
According to Figure 1, a separate wall construction 12 can be attached to the frame 8 and cover the opening between the screen 1 and the frame 8 at least partially, act as a support and in some cases even support the tree trunks. The said separate wall construction is preferably attached to the frame 8 or the chassis 9 of the forestry machine, either on the front of the screen and the frame or preferably on the back, seen from the direction of the cargo space, used / if it also protects an actuator 5 if necessary.
The actuator 5, which in this example is a cylinder controlled by a pressure medium, lifts the screen 1. The actuator 5 also lays down the cutter 10 15 20 25 30 35 535 658 6 but 1 or allows the screen 1 to lie down by itself . The actuator 5 is thus a single or double-acting cylinder, and the inlet and outlet of the pressure medium in and out of the cylinder is controlled by e.g. one or more control valves. The printing medium is obtained from the forest machine's own system. There can also be several parallel actuators, each with its own connectors.
When the actuator 5 is a cylinder, it is connected on one side to the body 8 which has connectors 11 for the actuator, and on the other hand to the screen 1 which has connectors 4 for the actuator. In this example, the cylinder is placed in the vertical direction. The connectors 4 are preferably placed halfway in the vertical direction of the screen 1, at the same distance from the lower and upper edge of the central portion of the screen. In the embodiment of Figures 1 and 2, the cargo space is a so-called wide model, the distance between the pillars being greater than usual. The height of the pile of tree trunks in the cargo spaces can thus be less than in the normal situation, but with the help of the screen 1 lifting movement the height of the pile can be increased if necessary, if you want to maximize the size of the available cargo space, depending on the material to be transported in the hold. In Figures 1 and 2, the screen construction represents the first model of the screen construction fi. In the embodiment of fi gur4, the cargo space is a so-called narrow or normal model, where the distance between the pillars is less than in fi gures 1 and 2. The height of the pile of tree trunks in the cargo space corresponds to the normal situation, but the lifting movement of the screen 1 is not necessary. In Figure 4, the screen construction represents an alternative second model of the same screen construction, which is realized by using the same screen 1 as in Figure 1 or 2.
For figure 4 it should be noted that the screen 1 is inverted relative to the situation in figures 1 and 2. The construction, shape and dimensions of the screen 1 and fastening structure 6 are adapted so that the screen 1 can be connected even to the same frame 8 and supports 7 in at least two different 10 15 20 25 30 35 535 668 7 locations. In this case, the positions differ 180 degrees from each other, seen around a horizontal axis of rotation. Said axis of rotation is perpendicular to the screen 1.
The supports 7 are also so adapted that the two different positions of the screen 1 are possible, preferably even without adaptation work or disassembly of the screen fastening structure 6 or support members 7. In the screen construction, however, different readings can be applied which ensure that the parts are held in place. In the situation of figure 4, and otherwise also, the screen construction comprises, if necessary, different readings, with which the screen 1 can be locked manually at the requested height, or with which the movement of the screen 1 can be restricted. In the example of figure 4, the side elements 2, 3 of the screen 1 now extend higher than the middle portion of the screen 1 and its upper edge. The side elements extend down to the same height as the middle portion of the screen 1 and its lower edge, which in the situation of Figures 1, 2 functioned as the upper edge. The height of the screen 1, in particular the height of its central part, determines the height of the pile of tree trunks that can be collected in the cargo space. The middle part has a smaller height than the side elements 2, 3, whereby the visibility is also better. The side elements 2, 3 which are located higher make it possible to stack a slightly higher pile than in the situation of Figures 1 and 2.
According to fi gur4 4, one or more separate additional parts 13 can be connected between the side elements 2, 3 which expand the screen 1 or fill the space between the side elements 2, 3 either in whole or in part. In this example, the height of the additional part 13 corresponds to the height difference between the side elements 2, 3 and the middle part of the screen. The side element 13 is preferably connected to the fastening construction 6, for example through a part which is placed in the pipe and which can be fastened in place. The accessories are released when screen 1 is turned upside down.
If the screen does not have a lifting movement, for example in the situation of figure 4, an opening does not inevitably occur between the screen 1 and the frame 8, in which case a separate wall construction is not necessary. If the screen does not have a lifting movement, said horizontal axis of rotation may alternatively be parallel to the screen 1, and the connectors 4 and 11 are located in the inverted alternative on the opposite side of the screen 1 in comparison with figure 1. In the situation of figure 2 there will be an opening between the screen 1 and the frame 8, which opening can be covered with a separate wall construction 12 which is placed next to the screen. In the situation of figure 4, the separated wall construction is unnecessary, if the screen 1 is pressed against the frame 8.
The frame 8 and the screen 1 further comprise connectors 4 and 11 for the actuator, wherein the actuator can be switched on in the same way as in the situation of Figures 1 and 2, if a lifting movement is necessary. If the distance between the connectors 4 and 11 is the same as in the situation of Figures 1 and 2 and the requested lifting movement is the same, it is possible to use t.o.m. the same actuator as in the situation of Figures 1 and 2.
The dimensions and shapes of the screen 1 and the frame 8 may also deviate from the example presented above. The structure and placement of the support members 6 and 7 may differ from that presented, depending on whether a lifting and closing movement is necessary and in use or not, and they may in part also belong to the construction of the screen 1. In one case, the screen can also be placed on the front or back of the frame.
The different rotational positions of the screen can also be used in other respects, but the general principle is that the screen becomes vertical and in the same direction as in Figures 1, 2 and 4. Thus, for example, it may be a question of a rotation of t.o.m. 90 degrees, with the above-mentioned rotation of 180 degrees is most suitable. The different positions of the screen are not limited to only different models or dimensions of the cargo space, but the different positions of the screen describe almost different models or types of the same screen construction. An advantage is achieved when the parts of the same screen construction enable the assembly in different ways and at the same time several different applications of the screen construction.
The invention is not limited only to the embodiment presented above, but it can be carried out within the scope of the appended claims.
